Should They Stay or Should They Go?

The big question for players during the current NBA lockout is whether they should play overseas.  Since the lockout began on July 1st, three players have signed deals in Europe, including super point guard Deron Williams (Turkey).  Additionally, superstars such as Kobe Bryant (Turkey or China) and Kevin Durant have reportedly shown interest in playing abroad if the lockout persists.

In Blazers nation, rumors have Batum potentially signing with a French team and Aldridge hinting at following Williams to Europe.

Is it better for players to stay in game shape and competition mode by playing for a foreign team or should they stay home to work on their game?  Will players leaving the country force the owners hand with negotiations or will it lead to a trend of top flight NBA players realizing they can make better money in Europe?  These are only a few questions to consider with regard to players deciding to stay or go.

Let us know what you think.
